Our Future Foundation

Paying It Forward!

(a non-profit organization)

One of our original goals and promise to God is always to show my appreciation and gratefulness for all He blessed me/us with and to "Pay It Forward." Our founder, Gwen, has always been a giver and a generous person, so, God allowed her this opportunity to do even more.
7 Ripples Forward Foundation will focus and operate under our foundation by self-creating seven different giving avenues that will benefit a group or the type of charities near and dear to our hearts.
Another huge part of this foundation will be volunteering; we don't just want to simply write a check; we also want our Villagers to give of their time by volunteering in the community we live in as another way of "Paying it Forward." This includes us all, no matter what tribe/team you are on or status.
Our logo represents:
1. Our hearts to give, care, and love all people, no
matter what color.
2. The seven hearts are our active commitment to:
Donate - Give - Help - Hope - Share - Support - Volunteer
2. The water ripples represent our willingness never to stop "paying it forward."
The 7 Ripples FF to benefit:

01
Prison & Criminal Justice Reform
Most men and women incarcerated are BIPOC, and many have been unfairly put behind bars; their sentences were not in proportion to their non-BIPOC counterparts, or they were innocent when committed. Whatever the case may be, we all know our Prison and Justice Systems are broken and need to be reformed.
TOLESG is committed to doing its part to make a change for Social Justice.
02
Disability Rights
It would be a beautiful world if everyone was treated fairly and equal. This is the world we are wanted to create, where inclusion means you are just as important as anyone else. Therefore, we are going to work hard to assure our S.M.A.R.T., DEAF and others that their rights are not being violated in any way.

03
Arts, Music, and Home Economics programs back in the schools
Back in the day, we were required to take one or more of these classes in school, and it was because it was essential for us to expand our creative minds and also get exposure to the world of arts. It was equally important for young girls to learn life skills as homemakers. Well, the importance has not lessened, just the funding and the education system's commitment to provide or require these needed classes. Some suburban schools have them as an elective, but many public and rural schools are not afforded the same opportunity. Well, TOLESG wants to work on ways to bring back these programs to the mainstream schools.
04
Our Smorgasbord of Established Charities
There are numerous already established charities that are vital to our communities. A percentage of our foundation funding we help to support those selected ones that are near and dear to our hearts.

05
The Blessing Stew
Stirring away a slew of problems is the purpose of our BLESSING STEW. We will have a specific money set aside in our monthly budget to assist those who have emergency issues that they may need an helping hand and we want to be that hand that can assist them. Whether it's a utility bill, needing groceries, or an unforeseen emergency we want to come together as a Village and provide for each other when we can.
06
Soul Food Sundays
On Sundays, we want to have family-style dinners with our Villagers and our community. We want to start a tradition where families can come together with other neighbors and share a Sunday full course meal. Then afterward we want to open our doors and invite the homeless and others in need from our surrounding towns to come for a meal. This time we are the servers. This is another way families can teach their children ways to give back and pay it forward.
07
The Oklahoma History Experience
When we show we care and love each other, the sharing becomes natural. We also want to be informed and educated about the people we work, live with, and play. We believe that to understand each other's presence, we also have to know their history, and the culture and way of living may not be exactly our way. See the Oklahoma History Experience details under the Our Future tab.
